I have arrived at my hotel in Bremen! I am so excited to be here. When I left my parents at security in Charlotte, I was a little freaked out to be all by myself. Once on the plane I finally watched "The Hunger Games" and I have to admit it was a pretty good movie. Each seat had it's own touchscreen with movies and TV shows to watch. The flight really didn't seem too long because I was able to at least drift in and out of sleep some even though there was not a whole lot of room.. Luckily I had a window seat and saw some incredible views. The sunset was awesome and even at night the stars were beautiful, as well as the next sunrise. Even though I had to run to catch my connecting flight I made it in time. Thank goodness for my kindle; I was able to pass a lot of the time reading (Thank you Travis!) All the students I have met so far are really nice and I think I'm going to have a great time! We are checked in and will be meeting up to have dinner by the river tonight! Pictures will be posted on facebook regularly haha. I love you all and miss everyone already!

  1. Hey, sweetie! So glad to read your Blog! I am so excited for you and can't wait to hear about all of your adventures and see some pics. Remember that I probably won't have internet until Sunday after this afternoon so if you need something, email Daddy so he can get it on his phone. Enjoy your dinner by the river! We love you so much and already miss you as well!

  2. Hey, Taylor. Got a little anxious when we started receiving text messages from Verizon saying we were over our data usage by $50, then $150! Luckily, I was about a block from the Tville Verizon so I made a big "u-ie" & popped right in there. Took about 1.5 hours but they say we are in good shape after several phone calls and a very helpful representative. You did everything right before you left to get data & texting stopped but they forgot to tell us that it would be activated until the day you were in Germany so it looked like we had all these overages when in effect, they would disappear sometime today whenever the Global settings activated. The lady on the phone with Global services tried to call you & was gonna let me be on the line with you guys but she got your voice mail. You were probably dining on the river! All is well. Just use Wi-fi anytime that you use the internet and you should be fine. Everything here is good. Very hot. How's the temp over there?
Seems weird to tell you "good night" but by the time I get to the lake, it will be getting pretty late in Germany, so "Good night, sweetie." I love you. Mom

  3. Thank you so much! I e-mailed you about it instead of talking on here, but I'm sorry it took so long. Yeah I saw the call and voicemail but I didn't want to answer any calls at this point and have any more charges so I haven't even listened to the voicemail. The temperature today was awesome. It was a little hot during the day (and so was the room with no AC) but the evening was so nice. the sun doesn't set until about 10 to 10:15 here! I love you and goodnight! Thank you again! :)
